Asia and the Pacific is one of the fastest-urbanizing regions globally, with cities experiencing significant pressure from climate change impacts. As part of the UN-wide NDC push, UN-Habitat’s Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (ROAP) is initiating a programme to support countries in integrating urban-focused climate actions into their NDCs. This includes building internal capacity, offering training and capacity building at sessions, and providing targeted support to member states. The programme aims to strengthen regional coordination, develop country-specific tools and resources, and facilitate consultations and workshops with advisory services to accelerate the adoption of urban-integrated NDCs across Asia and the Pacific.
