Overview
The Twelfth Environmental Technology Expert Group Meeting was held under the theme of “Solutions for Climate Resilient Cities” on 21 October 2021, which was conducted remotely on line via Zoom due to the continuing situation of COVID-19.
This year, we welcomed government officials and representatives from four countries in Asia (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Philippines, and Vietnam), who presented issues, current situations and initiatives in their respective countries and cities.
From the Japanese side, experts from local governments, private sector, and public organization shared their policies, technologies and experience on effective solutions and measures for mitigating the risks and impact related to climate resilient issues. Later the participants from both sides enjoyed fruitful discussion on practical and potential possibilities for collaboration and future project implementations in their countries.
